School Nurse (RN/LPN) – 1:1 Bus Transportation

Ready for a change of pace or looking to add extra income without long shifts? Horizon Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Collingswood, NJ to provide 1:1 care for a special needs student during school transportation.

Earn an extra $550 per week!

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 1:30pm – 3:30pm (2 hour minimum per day)

Bus Transport Responsibilities

• Meet the student at school and assist with G-tube feeding
• Accompany the student on the school bus to their home to ensure safety and comfort, then return to the school via bus.
• Provide comprehensive medical assessment according to nursing practice standards
• Monitor and administer medication(s) and give treatment(s) if needed
• Respond to and assess emergency health needs of students
• Ensure the safety of the child
• Documentation of daily activity
• Ability to assist in case of an emergency

Requirements:

• Must have one year of professional experience as a nurse
• Active CPR card
• G-Tube experience is required
• Experience with 1:1 care and/or pediatrics is a plus!
• Must have or be willing to get fingerprinted by the Board of Education (we reimburse!)
