School Registered Nurse (RN) – 1:1 Case

Location: Manhattan, NY

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Manhattan, NY. We currently have a need for a nurse to provide all day in school care for a special needs student.

As a School Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in providing health services to students.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (per diem)

Responsibilities:

For One-to-One Nurse:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to students with special medical needs, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and addressing any health concerns or emergencies that may arise.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on the student's health status and progress.
• Advocate for the student's health and educational needs within the school setting, ensuring that they have access to appropriate accommodations and support services.

RN School Nurse Job Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in New York: You must hold a valid and active Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
• Current BLS Certification: Possession of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
• One (1) year of professional nursing experience.
