Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our team as Substitute School Nurses in Robesonia, PA!

The Substitute School Nurse is responsible for promoting health and safety in the school environment and provide health services to students, faculty, and staff.

Grades: Elementary – High School

Schedule: Per Diem, Part-time, and Full-time available!

Your Role:

• Direct Nursing Care – Provide care to students and staff who visit the health office for minor injuries, illnesses, and medication administration.
• Health Assessments & Screenings – Conduct assessments and screenings to identify health issues, providing appropriate interventions or referrals as necessary.
• Record Maintenance – Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students, including immunization records, health history, and medication logs.
• Collaboration – Work with school administrators, teachers, and parents to develop and implement health policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.
• Health Education – Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics like nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about Pediatric Care – If you’re dedicated to supporting children’s health and well-being, this is the perfect role for you.
• Experience – At least one year of professional nursing experience.
• Certification – An active PA Nursing License and CPR certification.
• Must be fingerprinted through the PA Dept. of Education (we reimburse!)
