Occupational Therapy and The Harlem Shake Videos

occupational therapy and the harlem shakeAs of late, the Harlem Shake is the new dance craze. According to Wikipedia: The Harlem shake is a dance that originally began in Harlem, New York, in 1981. Since its beginnings it has spread to other urban areas and became popular in music videos. The self-purported inventor of the dance was “Al B”, a Harlem resident.  Because of its founder, the dance was originally called the “albee” in Rucker and Harlem, but then later became known as the Harlem shake.

There have been many different types Youtube videos posted of people doing the Harlem Shake. I have found two videos of occupational therapy students doing the Harlem Shake at their respective university. The first one is from Duquesne University Occupational Therapy students and the second is from Georgia Regent University Occupational Therapy students. Take a look and enjoy!
