Registered Nurse (RN) – Sleep Away Basketball Camp

Location: Geneva, New York (between Rochester and Syracuse)
Compensation: $1950.00 per week
Start Date: June 25, 2025
End Date: August 6, 2025
Days Off: 1 day per week - you can choose the day off
Hours: 8:30 am to 7:30 pm (or after the last student receives medication)

Approximately 120 campers

Overview: Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work at a sleep away summer basketball camp, located in Geneva, NY. The summer camp nurse will work out of the college campus infirmary and their sleeping quarters are located right next to the infirmary. All meals are included and the nurse will have their own private room and bathroom.

Responsibilities:

• Manage timely administration of medications for campers.
• Maintain accurate medical records and oversee the health office.
• Provide basic medical attention to campers as needed.
• Ensure health office readiness upon arrival, with support from camp staff.
• Clear communication with parents and camp staff.
• Review medical record and follow up with staff or parent when necessary.

Requirements:

• RN license in New York
• Previous experience at a summer camp preferred
