Assignment #1: Health Office

• Location: Budd Lake, NJ
• Dates: June 29th- July 30th
• Hours: 9:00am-2:00pm
• Schedule: M-F

Assignment #2: Health Office

• Location: Budd Lake, NJ
• Dates: June 29th- July 30th
• Hours: 8:00am-1:00pm
• Schedule: M-F

A day in the life of a School Nurse includes:

• Providing first aid care and medically prescribed services.
• Serving as a resource person on health issues.
• Screening and conducting health appraisals for students and staff.
• Corresponding with parents on the health needs of children.
• Recording immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.

• Would like to gain experience working with the pediatric population!
• Are interested in gaining an understanding of child growth and development!
• Possess an active BLS/CPR card.
• Hold a NJ Nursing License
• Must be willing to get your New Jersey Department of Education Fingerprints (We fully reimburse!)
