Summer Camp (Sleep away) in Earlton, NY (Catskills)

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for two (2) Registered Nurses who can work a full summer session (7 weeks) of camp in Earlton, NY (Catskills). The summer camp is split into two (2) sessions.

Job Details:

Nurses Arrive: June 22, 2026

Campers Arrive: June 29, 2026

Session 1: 6/29/26 - 7/26/26

Session 2: 7/27/26 - 8/18/26

Nurses Depart: August 20, 2026

• 1 day off a week
• Sleep away camp in the Catskills, NY
• The RN will have their own private room, with air conditioning.
• Room, board, and meals are included
• Nurses may bring one child of camp age (tuition fee applies); if bringing two children, salary may be applied towards tuition
• Pay: $1,500 per week

Responsibilities:

• The RN will be working with another Registered Nurse and will set up the infirmary approximately 1 week prior to the start of camp.
• Each nurse will organize the campers’ medical records, provide basic medical attention to the campers, and dispense medication
• Any urgent emergency situations the RN will call 911
• Nurses will coordinate their own on-call evening schedule

Requirements:

• NY RN License
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Summer camp experience preferred
