Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Adolescent Unit

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking a reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to work at an adolescent residential treatment facility in Passaic County! This will be supporting the acute psychiatric unit, serving up to six adolescents

Location: Paterson, NJ

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Assignment: April 2026 – September 2026

Responsibilities:

• Medication administration, packing, and reconciliation
• Transcription and processing of physician orders
• Daily nursing assessments and triage of youth needs
• Monitoring psychiatric symptoms and medication effects
• Light case management and care coordination
• Collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
• Accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey RN License
• BLS Certification required
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, residential, or adolescent settings
• Current Physical, PPD or Quantiferon within the last 6 months (We reimburse!)
