Horizon Healthcare Staffing has many excellent dialysis nurse jobs located throughout the state of New Jersey. A dialysis nurse is a Registered Nurse that administers treatment to patients with kidney disease to remove toxins and excess water. A dialysis nurse may work in a variety of settings. We have job openings in hospitals, dialysis clinics, in the home, outpatient centers, surgery centers and private physician offices. The dialysis nurse typically operates a hemodialysis machine that extracts blood from the patient, cleans it and returns it to the body. A lot of our clients require some experience with hemodialysis.
We are searching for sympathetic, caring, positive, patient, and responsible RNs for our job openings. Dialysis nursing is a sub specialty of nephrology nursing. Nephrology nurses specialize in the care of patients who have kidney disorders or disease. The treatment for a renal failure (the kidneys stop working suddenly or over a period of time) is dialysis. A nephrology nurse should know how to assess a dialysis patient, plan and deliver care, and determine whether the care is effective or must be modified.

We require at least 1 year of experience as a dialysis nurse, as well as an active RN license in New Jersey. Hemodialysis experience is always a plus, and the ability to work in the United States is a must. ACLS and BLS certification is also required.
