Wellness Hostess / Host Job in New York

Horizon Healthcare Staffing has an exciting role for a wellness hostess / host. The main purpose of this position is to provide a warm welcome and have the ability to meet and greet customers and ensure the smooth coordination of all requests from wellness attendees, provide a tour, and introduce attendees to other team members. You must maintain the highest standards of customer service at all times.

As this role, you are required to be immaculate and presentable and understand the importance of first impressions.  You must be organized both personally and professionally and able to make simple decisions that affect your own work or the customers experience in a positive manner alongside a good time management skills.

This position is a hostess for wellness events. You will be asked to work the events from 6-8 hours. We have opportunities in the 5 NYC boroughs and Long Island.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival.
• When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the building.
• Professional, courteous attitude when confronted with hostile or impatient guests.
• Relay messages to staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Thanks guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Requirements:

• Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Excellent verbal and telephone skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with guests.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Fluency in other languages a plus.
• Must be able to drive
