1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN)

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated nurse in Bergen County, NJ! We currently have a need for a nurse to work one-to-one with a special needs student in school.

The student requires all day in school care as well as transportation assistance.

Location: Elmwood, NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7:30am – 3:15pm

School Nurse Job Details:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and addressing any health concerns or emergencies that may arise.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on the student's health status and progress.
• Advocate for the student's health and educational needs within the school setting, ensuring that they have access to appropriate accommodations and support services.

You'll be a perfect fit for this position if you:

• Must have one year of professional experience as a Nurse.
• Must have experience with diabetes management.
• Active CPR card
• NJ Registered Nurse
• Must be willing to get your New Jersey Department of Education Fingerprints (We reimburse!)
