Registered Nurse – Summer Camp (Sleep Away)

Summer Camp (Sleep away) in Earlton, NY (Catskills)

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for two (2) Registered Nurses who can work a full summer session (7 weeks) of camp in Earlton, NY (Catskills). The summer camp is split into two (2) sessions.

Job Details:

Start Date: June 30, 2024

End Date: August 20, 2024

• 1 day off a week
• Sleep away camp in the Catskills, NY
• The RN will have their own private room, with air conditioning.
• Room, board, and meals are included
• If the Nurse has children (up to 3) between the ages of 7 and 15, they can attend the camp for free
• Pay: $1,400 per week

Responsibilities:

• The RN will be working with another Registered Nurse and will set up the infirmary approximately 1 week (6/24) prior to the start of camp.
• Each nurse will organize the campers’ medical records, provide basic medical attention to the campers, and dispense medication
• Any urgent emergency situations the RN will call 911

Requirements:

• Licensed RN
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Summer camp experience preferred
