College Internship – PC Support / Network Support / Technology Help Desk – Paid – (Part-Time)

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking a local college student in their sophomore year to join our company to provide information technology services. This includes a wide range of PC support, networking support, and help desk support functions at our company headquarters in Hicksville, NY.

Our technology environment includes over 100 PC's, six (6) Microsoft servers, a local and wide area network, MS-Office 365, and cloud-based computing applications for system administration and accounting.

We are seeking a college intern to work between 15 and 25 hours a week from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., which are our normal business hours. This is an ongoing part-time position extending into the summer.

This position pays $21 per hour.

• Current Sophomore attending college on Long Island, required.
• Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering major, required.
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher, required.
• Current knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft operating systems, basic computer networking, and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, required.
