The Substitute School Nurse is responsible for promoting health and safety in the school environment and provide health services to students, faculty, and staff.

We are looking for candidates in the areas of: Upper Darby, Glenolden, Chester, Folcroft, Aston, and more!

Schedule: Per Diem, Part-time, and Full-time available!

Your Role:

• Direct Nursing Care – Provide care to students and staff who visit the health office for minor injuries, illnesses, and medication administration.
• Health Assessments & Screenings – Conduct assessments and screenings to identify health issues, providing appropriate interventions or referrals as necessary.
• Record Maintenance – Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students, including immunization records, health history, and medication logs.
• Collaboration – Work with school administrators, teachers, and parents to develop and implement health policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.
• Health Education – Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics like nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.

School Nurse Job Requirements:

• Pennsylvania Nursing License: You must hold a valid and active Pennsylvania RN License
• Current CPR Card: Possession of current CPR Card is required to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
• One (1) year of professional experience as a Nurse
• Must be willing to get your PA Department of Education Fingerprints (We reimburse!)
