Horizon Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse in Princeton, NJ to work with a special need’s student in a 1:1 capacity during their transportation to and from school on the school bus.

• The assignment would be both AM and PM bus rides with the student.
• Each bus ride will take a minimum of 2 hours no matter the time it takes.

Job Details:

Hours: AM Pickup: 7:20 | PM Pickup: 3:15

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

For Transportation Nurse:

• Provide healthcare support and assistance to students with special medical needs during school bus transportation, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.
• Assess students' health status and administer medications or medical treatments as necessary during transportation.
• Communicate effectively with bus drivers, school administrators, and parents to coordinate transportation logistics and address any health-related concerns or emergencies during transit.
• Ensure that all necessary medical supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained on school buses to meet students' healthcare needs.

RN School Nurse Job Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in New Jersey: You must hold a valid and active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR Certification: Possession of current CPR certification is required to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
• Must have one (1) year of professional experience as a nurse.
• Spanish Bilingual required
• Experience with seizure precautions is required
• Must have or be willing to be fingerprinted by the Board of Education (We reimburse!)
