Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time opportunity in a skilled nursing facility located in Nassau County, NY. Position Details:

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy interventions as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with care plans.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, language, speech, and swallowing impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to achieve measurable patient goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies for continued progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility and state standards.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology License (Required)
• No CFY – Must be fully licensed
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
