Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for a chemotherapy infusion RN for a medical office in Camden County, New Jersey. This is a per diem assignment with a possible transition to full time permanent employment. This is an immediate need. The medical office is open Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm. The RN will be working on a full time basis.
Job Duties:
Chemotherapy infusion RNs administer chemotherapy IV fluids directly into the patient's veins or via peripherally inserted central catheters. These professionals might also be in charge of scheduling as well as pre-treatment preparation if there is not a tech on hand to perform tasks like taking vitals and cleaning treatment equipment. In addition, the RN might be tasked with providing education and follow-up care after patients have been released from chemotherapy. Depending on the facility for which he works, the chemotherapy infusion RN might also be responsible for administering holistic therapies like massage, acupressure or meditation.
Requirements:
- NJ Licensed RN
- 1+ years of experience
- Chemo Certified
