Seeking RNs for a 7-Week Summer Camp Opportunity - Upstate NY

Are you looking for an enjoyable outdoor experience this summer while providing care to campers in a beautiful setting?

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is now interviewing nurses who would like an opportunity to work at an exclusive summer camp in upstate NY. This camp is in session from the end of June until the middle of August.

The camp, which is approximately 2 hours north of Long Island, has flexible and diverse programs for campers who range in age from 7 to16.  500 campers call the camp home for the 7 weeks they are in residence.

Horizon is looking for qualified RNs who want to impact the lives of campers while providing routine nursing care

The camp has 3 physicians and a total of 9 RNs in residence. During your assignment at the camp, you will be expected to work as part of the medical team to provide routine and emergent care for the campers.

The camp is seeking nurses who are able and willing to work 9 hour days, 6 days a week. A weekly schedule will be worked out among the team.  Camp staff is free to enjoy the camp grounds after work and go into town to experience rural, upstate living.  Dormitory living is available for camp staff, with either a private or shared bath.

Compensation

The salary is $1000 weekly. If you choose to bring your child age 6 or older, your compensation will be $700 weekly.  Camp tuition is free for your child.
