Registered Nurse (RN) – Preschool Summer Day Camp

Location: Manhattan, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Camp Dates: June 29 – August 21, 2026 (8-week program)

Compensation: $250 per day + Paid Lunch

A well-established Preschool Summer Day Camp in Manhattan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the health and safety of campers ages 3-5 during our 8-week summer program. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with young children in a fun, structured camp environment. The nurse will provide basic medical care and first aid support throughout the camp day.

Camp Environment:

• Approximately 250 campers, divided into classrooms
• Children ages 3-5 years old
• Campers are expected to be potty trained (some may wear pull-ups)
• Designated nursing space provided
• On-site security team
• Camp shirt provided

• Provide first aid and basic medical care to campers and staff as needed
• Assess and respond to minor injuries and common childhood illnesses
• Administer medication if required
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Communicate with camp leadership and parents/guardians as needed
• Ensure a safe and healthy camp environment

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience working with children (pediatrics, school nursing, camp nursing, or similar preferred)
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a non-clinical camp setting
