Transportation School Nurse (1:1)

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking a reliable Registered Nurse for a 1-1 School Bus Transportation case in West Orange, NJ. The student would need transportation assistance to and from school.

Must be comfortable with seizure protocols.

Assignment Dates: 2020/2021 School Year

Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays only

 7:45 AM-9:45 AM – Morning Run 1:30 pm-3:45 pm – Afternoon Run

Job Responsibilities: 

• Meet the patient at their home in West Orange and ride the school bus each day to and from school.
• Always ensure proper positioning of patient.
• Ability to assist in an emergency.
• Assist patient with getting on and off the school bus.

Requirements:

• Must have one year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse
• Active CPR card
• Experience with 1-1 care a plus!
• Experience with children a plus!
• Must have or be willing to get fingerprinted by the Board of Education (we reimburse)
