Registered Nurse – Outpatient Treatment Center

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a full time Registered Nurse to work within multiple clinics for an outpatient treatment facility in East Orange, NJ.The main job duties include but are not limited to general triaging and immunizations.

Hours and Schedule:

Full-time staff: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Nurses effectively interact with patients, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing
• Processing patients for clinics; registration, documentation, and filing.
• Treatment of patients; medication administration including injections, TB testing, etc.
• Perform bloodwork as ordered by physician.
• Measure vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, [pulse) and growth process (height, weight, head circumference).
• Submit bi-weekly data on adult clinic by close of business every Friday to Nurse Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish
• Active CPR/BLS certification
• Active NJ Nurse License
• Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to make decisions independently.
• Comfortable working with adult and pediatric populations.
