LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Horizon Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing quality nursing care to a student in Suffolk County, NY.
Job Details:
  • 1 : 1 case
  • Student has a seizure disorder
  • Monday - Friday
  • 9am-215pm
  • Suffolk County, NY

Responsibilities

Job Summary:
As an LPN, you will work 1:1 with special needs students during school hours, ensuring the appropriate level of clinical care based on the doctor's orders and school IEP, and assist throughout their school day with any medical needs that may arise. You will also document daily activities, ensure the safety of the child, and be able to assist in case of an emergency. You will work closely with other school nursing staff and Horizon case managers.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • LPN License in New York
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
